Riders can earn Umo Rewards Stars from participating transit agencies — who will reward them for their travel activity — by going to Wallet > Rewards > Earn when you ride.
A transit agency may send a promo offer to a rider, such as taking public transit on certain days.
Example: "Earn 100 Stars for every 10 rides in January."
Note: If the rider doesn't see a rewards offer, they have either not opted in to Umo Rewards, or their local transit agency does not offer earning Stars when they ride.
How do riders opt in to earn Stars when they take public transit?
- From the main screen, tap the Wallet icon.
- On the My Wallet screen, select Rewards, scroll down to Earn when you ride and tap the featured offer.
Note: Riders can also tap View more offers, which takes them to a Ride Offers page with additional offers.
- Once the rider has selected a featured offer, the offer details are available on a Ride Offer Details screen.
Example: "Promotion applies for rides taken between 7:00 am - 8:00 am."
- Once the rider scans their account code when boarding during the ride-time offer, their Stars will be automatically credited to their account within 24 hours.
